Lovely hotel. Receptionists and staff were all lovely and very professional. Also were able to give us advice on places to eat. We ended up eating in the Italian restaurant next door which was really tasty plus as hotel guests we got a discount.Breakfast was also through in that restaraunt. Very generous and tasty.Only downsides- beds are so small. We didn't get the greatest night sleep. It is definately smaller than our double bed.But very nice hotel and great location. Right next to Beamish and lots of lovely walks.
What a lovely hotel clean friendly
Very nice hotel. Nice clean rooms and plenty of room for the three of us. Very pleased with it.
Fantastic two day stay while visiting Beamish and other places.The hotel is clean and well presented.Breakfast is buffet style, which suits whatever appetite you have.The restaurant that doubles as the breakfast area serves a good menu for evening dining.We had a room with the small kitchen area so is great if you're staying in.There was a problem with the shower, but was fixed quickly and efficiently.The girls on reception were brilliant, warmly engaging and good humoured.We would highly recommend Hotel 52 to anyone visiting the area.
Very, very pleased with Hotel 52. The staff were absolutely brilliant at dealing with a small problem and nothing was too much trouble. And the food was superb. Nice and central. We'll definitely be back.
