A great venue for a wedding, a little tired in places and the beds were somewhat on the soft side. But it creates a grand impression and you cannot fault the staff they did a brilliant job. Good recommendation to host things
This was my first visit and I stayed for one night. I found the experience most pleasant. From the amazing dinner in the stables restaurant, to the warm welcome at the hotel, spotless and cosy room, comfy bed and lovely breakfast. I can highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Visited Beamish Hall, for the first time, for a Christmas Fair. It was buzzing! Lots of interesting stalls selling local festive products were arranged throughout the grand old building. A marquee housed stalls offering delicious local produce. (Sadly it was uncomfortably busy and the rivers of people made it difficult to stop and look at anything). Outside the trees and shrubs in their autumn glory looked stunning in the crisp November sunshine.
Very very nice afternoon tea. Choice of 3 tier sandwich. Fruit and plain scones with jam and cream. Individual fruit tarts, chocolate crispy cake, carrot cake, apple square. All delicious. Plastic boxes provided to take home anything you are unable eat. Loads of tea or coffee. Staff very helpful. The hotel is a little tired in places. Enjoyed two hours for a very nice afternoon.
