Fantastic Dentist & Staff.I had a really bad experience when I was 11 with another dentist. (Im now 53)...Which left me with a massive fear of any dentist. My husband explained to the receptionist just how frightened I actually was. I was welcomed with a warm smile and real concern from all the staff. Who were absolutely wonderful. Allowing me to calm down before explaining everything to me. I sat down for minutes before been taking into see the dentist. He had been told before hand how nervous I was. So took things slow with me. After having a check up scale and polish , the dentist took my x-rays then talked me through my treatment plan. I needed to have my wisdom tooth extracted.Id been in pain for 7 long months. I was booked in extremely quickly. Today (20th September) I had my tooth extracted. He talked me through every stage. He was gentle. I really didn't feel the needle numbing my mouth. It was all over with so quickly as well. Felt nothing apart from a bit pressure which he told me about before he started. I even went shopping straight afterwards. As I felt great and no longer in pain.I had the best experience of my life at this dentist.. Overall I was extremely happy and I would and will be recommending this practice to my family and everyone else that needs a dentist.Thank you for making this a good experience for me. Actually I'm looking forward to my next check up. Never thought I'd ever say that about going to the dentists.Thank you so much.
In last week, he removed a tooth by sitting on my side, suffed in herndous pain for week (still got the pain) ended up having to go back to be told i have an infection, never going back, guy is rude
I had complained once before about the treatment i received but like a fool went back this time I was on blood thinners and needed to come of them for a week to have a tooth taken out i could not do this due to chest infection so when I told the dentist he said being on blood thinners don't matter and was rude and abrupt with me I guess he must know more than the specialist I'm under .... DON'T THINK SO .... this time I am reporting him as he is not fit to be working on people with that attitude
My daughter (who is 24) went to see this "person" because she had chipped her tooth, she is dentist phobic and was very very aprehensive... he is the rudest person i have EVER come across, no empathy at all! In addition to his bad attitude, after explaining to my daughter that a crown was going to cost 250 my daughter got upset and expained that she couldn't afford it and can he try for a cheaper option... his answer? And i quote " I dont really care what you can afford that's what you need to do!" I cant believe it cost her 20.60 (consultation fee) to be traumatised and belittled at her age by a so called "medical professional". Anyway she's not returning, she's made an appointment with another dentist. Absolutely fuming!!
Had my son at the dentist last week and the attitude from the man seeing to him was disgusting! Made me feel so small, if years a few people complaining about him no idea how he is still the dentist in there if I'm honest! I transferred myself to the my dentist at birtley and I couldn't fault them the lady is lovely will never ever go back to him and I'm moving my kids too...
