I attended the practice today as an emergency appointment after suffering terrible toothache and I ending up needing an extraction. I have a huge fear of attending the dentist and have not been for months (if not years). I only attended today because I had been awake for two nights with awful toothache. The dentist I saw was very professional, patient with me and calmed me down. (sorry I can't remember his name) I would reccomend this dentist surgery to anyone looking.
Receptionist Blonde with glasses is a total disgrace to the practice. As trying to make appointment for my self and was give times of either when my child will be finishing school or times am at work. I declined all appointments to which she offered to walk away and turned around to get my sons brushing chart to catch the immature little girl pulling faces at me. In which if it wasnt for paying clients like me the sad case of a human wouldnt have a job!! Total utter rude little girl.
Had to attend as private patient as their waiting list for NHS is quite long. However the appointment was booked very quickly and service was very friendly.Had xrays done as part of the initial check up fee and the dentist, Paddy, was very helpful and honest advising me that the root filling required, was an expensive procedure as a private patient and that I would be best off ringing around for a dentist that was accepting nhs patients, unless I was desperate to have the work done there and then.This was very refreshing and truly amazing in a environment where, in days gone by teeth were removed unnecessarily for profit.Given this honesty I will definitely be keeping my name on their waiting list, as I can be sure that the dentist had the patient needs at the forefront and was treat delightfully throughout putting me totally at ease.
Excellent practice. Hubby and I have been patients well over 10 years and their care never fails. We've always been treated as individuals with first rate dental care. We're not surprised that there is a constant waiting list to join this practice. Hubby needs a fair bit of treatment and within hours of making the appointment they rang him and offerred a cancellation for the following day. Many thanks also go to the pleasant and helpful Reception staff.
