Have used this fish and chip shop for a few years now...food has always been decent enough but delivery unreliable .Recently ordered (delivery would be OVER an hour )They weren't joking!!..had to call back nearly two hours later to be told the fish was just going in the pan!! Finally arrived 2 hours and 15 mins after first call...the final straw for us...from now on we will go elsewhere and collect them ourselves!!
Poor. Chips are often reheats. They dont melt the cheese on the cheesey chips.Got a call once to say they had ran out of cheese after waiting over 1 hour for a pizza and I called to chase.Sainsburys own pizzas off the deli counter are better
Ordered a pizza at 7:30 on Christmas Eve like I do every year, at 8:45 (15minutes before closing) got a phone call to say that they had ran out of pizza dough, then changed his mind and said pizza cheese, then when we tried to order something else was told they had ran out of all them options too with no offers or apologies or even a suggestion as to what they did have left, why couldn't they have told us this at 7:30 or even 8 rather than waiting so long to call us and let us down making it impossible to get anything for tea anywhere as it was so late, will definitely not be going here again!
Best local fish and chips. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Not sure about other food though as I've not tried it.
